Vehicle Detail
This partially restored, custom CB750 runs great and is super reliable. It's a great example to leave as-is and just enjoy. Gets a lot of attention and compliments around town. This is a very nice mostly original CB750 found in a garage outside of Boise, Idaho. It was owned by an older man and looked to be well-maintained and cared for. It has a very healthy sounding motor and was sitting off and on for the last 20 years. The bike has been thoroughly gone through mechanically including a full tune-up and has been detailed cosmetically. The paint looks to be newer within the last 5-10 years. The compression is good. The reading was 145 lbs across all 4 cylinders when tested cold. I bought this bike from Brandon Wurtz who worked at Charlie's Place in Glendale for a long time and the bike has been maintained and upgraded the same way it would be at Charlie's. Work performed by Brandon about a year ago at his shop, Rawhide Cycles in Idaho:Replaced tires with Bridgestone Spitfires and new inner tubes.Removed, cleaned and completely rebuilt the carbs with K&L kits and new o-rings for the crossovers.Re-wired with stock Honda colors and a Charlie's electronic ignition, Dynatek coils, Rick's regulator/rectifier and a new battery. New handlebar switches and low-rise CB400f handlebars.New 530 o-ring chain and new sprockets. Changed oil, adjusted cam-chain and valves, adjusted brakes, clutch and lubed cables.Rebuilt front brake caliper with a new brake piston, seal and brake pads.Custom seat upholstery by Interior Revolution.Re-chromed NOS 4 into 2 exhaust from the mid-70's. Please note, one grip has started to rip slightly and the left cover is a crack (see photo number 5). Few marks on the tank, but no dents.
