Vehicle Detail
The car was bought new by my mother. I purchased it from her estate in 2008, intending to keep it forever but since I have driven it less than 1,000 miles over the past 10 years it makes no sense to keep it. It has not been licensed since 2006 and has a few more miles (less than 100) since the odometer photo was taken as I do start it and drive it a few miles several times each year. The tires look very good with a lot of tread remaining. Checking it out for this ad, I noted that the power antenna failed to retract, there is wear on the drivers side floor mat by the accelerator, the Air Conditioner needs to be recharged and as shown on one photo, there is a paint chip on drivers side door. One photo shows a round hole in the trunk carpet that I know nothing about. I have included in the photos, an invoice from a GM dealership for repairs/replacement of the air conditioning system with 58,771 miles on the car, so it has been driven less than 150 miles since then. Also, in full disclosure, I observed when taking the pictures, that a number of bubbles (delaminations) have developed in the headliner. I contacted a company that specializes in vehicle interiors and was told that is not an unusual problem and they would estimate that it would cost 275.00 - $350.00 to remove and replace the headliner. I have also included a picture of the side of the front passenger seat, showing several small indentations. In addition, I recently noticed an oil spot under the car, near the front of the engine, I don't know where it came from. The car starts and runs very good, considering the fuel is 10 - 15 years old. I do have to pump the accelerator a number of times if it has been sitting for some time. Please note, I am not a car guy, so I have described the vehicle to the best of my knowledge. I will be happy to attempt to answer any questions you might have. The vehicle must be removed within 14 days of close of auction.
