First year Firebird Convertible for sale. Originally equipped with the 326 engine now has a YT block Pontiac 400 with #62 heads.Took this engine out of my 70 GTO clone as was planning LS swap for that.Was told engine was rebuilt about 2 years before I bought it and was told has Keith Black pistons in it.Was built at a shop in Glasgow KY. I wasn't going to pull apart an excellent running engine to check.This Firebird came from the factory as a Tyrol blue, 326 engine,powerglide trans,A/C,Power brake,power steering,black deluxe interior,console car.Transmission is now a turbo 350.Interior I believe is all original ( other than new carpet)and is in my opinion very good condition for it's year.Although the drivers seat material has a few holes.New convertible top.I feel the body is in overall very good condition with great body lines.The color is Corvette Torch Red Basecoat. It has that satin look. It has positraction rear diff. Has new fuel tank, fuel sending unit, fuel and brake lines installed. As well as new brake hoses, battery, Master Cylinder, wheel cylinders, New front main light harness, Firebird emblems. So many new parts to list.It still needs some things to be done to it...first and foremost it needs ball joints and tires.Tires are old and dry rotted and ball joints are worn.So recommend driving onto a trailer.It also needs new weatherstripping .Also the windshield trim put on and wiper arms and linkage installed. I am including original and aftermarket windshield trim, as well as the wiper arms and linkage as well as other new and used misc parts.Ac isn't currently installed but comes with most original parts including inner and outer boxes. I feel this car is in very good condition for it's year and a very solid car at that. It's not perfect as it is still a 51 year old car.I included pics of the 2 hidden Vin numbers I came across.These match vehicle and title.Also included pic of rear frame rails and floors coated with por15. These cars are hard to come by and usually rotted out bad when you find them.Take a look at the pictures and I encourage you to come take a look at this car yourself in person as everyone's expectations are different. I feel whoever buys this will be getting a great car at a great price. I will gladly answer any questions or send additional pictures upon request. I honestly would finish the the car but life has other plans.Becoming a single father and sole provider.I have to make sure my son is taken care of and provided for..that is my top priority.So it is time to let this car go.Sold as is.Shipping is buyers responsibility but I will gladly communicate in any way I can with buyers shipping company if needed.Car is to be paid for in full and picked up within 7 days( When car is paid for and if buyer needs additional time for vehicle to be picked up I maybe willing to work with buyer on giving additional time for pickup ,but buyer needs to communicate that with me before auction end ) vehicle will not be released until all funds have cleared.
