Very Clean Unrestored well optioned 1978 Pontiac Trans Am. 400 V-8 W72 Option, WS6 Suspension, 4Spd Manual Trans., Power Windows, Power Locks, Power Rear Trunk, Tilt Steering, Rear Window Defrost, Air Conditioning, Cloth Interior, Original Code 19 Starlight Black TA, Numbers Matching Engine and Transmission. Nearly New BF Goodrich Tires, Newer Paint and Decals, Transmission shift's good, Tight front end/suspension. However this car IS NOT a trailer queen!, This TA has NOT had a Frame Off Restoration, So there are thing's for a 40 year old unrestored car. Like Power windows work however they move slow, The AC needs recharged (everything is there including belt) however it's still R-12, The engine DOES have a engine oil leak, This car was under coated when it was new, and because of that it shows as having ALL of it's original sheet metal and there is NO body damage or rust issues. It is stored inside ALWAYS never left outside. Because it is in "Unrestored" Condition" please expect small scratches, paint chips here or there, other little imperfections for a 40 year old car. The drive train is in Original Condition. Engine runs Very Strong ( My personal opinion it run's excellent) and does not smoke. This car does have headers which were on the car when I bought it.(I do not have original exhaust manifolds). It also has a aluminum Intake manifold. I do have the cast iron Pontiac intake.(Cast Iron Intake came with car when I bought it, however I cannot guarantee it's the original) The carburetor and distributor I believe to be original. This TA was originally a UN9 radio delete car, however it does have a very nice stereo cassette player that works perfect. No dash modifications or cutting to install stereo. This car needs to be seen to appreciate how clean and solid it is. It would not be hard to take this car to the next level show car/investment. A car that you would be proud to own and only appreciate in value. This car is sold "AS IS" with no warranty.
