1973 Plymouth Barracuda 383 V8, 4-spd manual. Car restoration was done in 2009. The car was originally a 318, 3-spd car and was upgraded with a 69' 383 and a 4-spd manual "Rock Crusher" transmission behind it. The engine was slightly tuned up with a bigger cam and bored over pistons, Hedman shorty headers, electronic ignition, and an Eldebrock 650 electric choke carb. To keep it cool it has a custom 27" aluminum radiator and aluminum 5 blade fan. It was run on a dyno back in 2012 and the engine puts out about 350hp. It has a an 8 3/4 Detroit locker posi read end with 3.55 gears. Power steering with PO front disc brakes and rear drum brakes. The car sits on 14" Cragar S/S rims with BF Goodrich tires which still are in good shape and have lots of tread left. In 2016 underneath the car was upgraded to a Hotchkis TVS Suspension system specifically made for E-body. The interior of the car is in good shape, and has a hard to find original (not to the car) 4-spd console. The car does not have a stereo or speakers, because it was always nice to listen to the rumble of the magna flow exhaust system. The pictures speak for themselves.
