Vehicle Detail
1957 Chevy 150 Handyman 2 Door Station Wagon. I purchased this wagon four years ago for $18,000 from a Hemming's ad. Car was out in San Diego California near Torrance, and Hermosa Beach, where it spent it's whole life. I then paid Intercity $2,200 to enclose deliver it to NY. It not only doesn't have any rust, but it" never" had any rust, except for a hardball size hole in both the rear lower front fenders, and one golf ball size pitted area in a flat area of the passenger side rear floor . Very rare to have survived in this shape, most 1957 handyman " 150" two door wagon's got used up for work .Three owners from new. The original California owner had the car for most of it's life, and seven year's after he died his widow sold the car with a Hemming's ad to the second owner in California who had it for about four year's, and I have owned the car for about four year's it's always been garaged, every panel is original to the car, and still shows the original paint. I have cleaned the frame down to bare meal and epoxy primed and re-sprayed it, and the whole bottom in satin black. California one piece front bumper. Car retains both factory trim tags, stainless one on driver's door pillar , showing a true "A" code 150 model, and the original aluminum trim tag on the firewall. The original 235 straight six still runs and drives well. Car now has four speed, but comes with the original three speed. Also have a 1957 automatic power glide for the six, and an automatic steering column. The car retains all of it's original date coded glass which is in great condition, including the windshield. Many extra parts go with car, including a mint original drivers side long quarter stainless steel molding , this piece alone cost me $750.00 dollars. The rest of the original stainless is all mint. And I have a pair of rare rear window regulators out of a 210 two door, to allow rear widows to roll up and down, once installed. Two original oil bath air cleaner's, an N.O.S. factory sealed A/C Delco vacuum advance, extra N.O.S. carburetor, plus many more original parts go with the car. I have all bills, and ownership paper work . Call me at 914-271-6756 after 6pm e.s.t. or leave a message and I will call you back, for any questions, or to set up an appointment to view the car. Sold as is, All funds must clear bank before car leaves , Thanks
