This is a auction add to sell a very nice 1968 Ford Galaxie 2 door coupe that has been in my personal collection for about 12 years. Vehicle has always been shedded all the years I have owned it . The car was repainted professionally in 2003 as my brother had owned it at that time . Color is a beautiful rich Gold metallic Brown shade with painted black top. There are some imperfections in the paint clarity and some very minor nibs and a small spot of rust above left rear wheel well. This car is not restored under the hood as it has an average used stock 390 V8 in it that runs very well. There is usual misc. oil leak or grease/dirt spots on the engine and tranny setup. I am not out to deceive you and say its all perfect . It is however a average good running driver for fun . The transmission is a 3 speed automatic column shift. Tranny has always performed well. The brakes however could use some attention as sometimes is pulls to one side . Due to setting around in storage and not driven every day. The interior is all black with leather original seats in it ( no tears) with black cloth/velvet seat covers on them. Carpet is new condition (black) The dash does have a crack in the top which is covered with a black fabric cover . Pioneer radio is in dash not original. Also the black roof top has a his /her sunroof installed in it that is in good shape and functions fine. Tires have good tread on them and are fine to use. This body is a little on the rare side. I have not found one in my area at car shows with the fast back window style or hide away headlights which I have been told may be from another one of Fords sister models the LTD. The underside of this car is just a average untouched unrefinished car frame and body. Thank You for looking at my add and message me with questions or call.
