Vehicle Detail

1999 Dodge 24 valve Cummins with just under 300,000 miles on it. This thing looks a little rough but will get you going down the road and pull anything that you want. The powerful inline 6 and virtually indestructible 5 speed manual transmission were built to withstand the test of time, I mean good luck getting everything surrounding the motor to last anywhere close to the life of the motor. Even in the Colorado extreme cold it will always start for me no matter the time of year. Over the last 5 years I have done nothing but put TLC in the pickup. I change filters, oil, rotate the tires every January so about every 2000 miles or so, got about 1500 miles on current oil change. In the last 5 years I put brand new tires on it, they have roughly 50% life on them, new steer gearbox, front end tie rods, waterpump, seals in front and both axels, and fixed some electrical issue. ( I.E. aftermarket security system.) The newest thing on there is a 2001 fuel filer housing. So now the downside after we took out the security system I lost the capability to use the electric locks, but it stopped draining my batteries down so I took it as a win. The fuel tank sending unit will stop working around 3/4 of a tank, so every fuel up I just reset my trip odometer to keep track. The air conditioner compressor will need to be looked at, it builds too much high side pressure and wants to lock up. The cruise control works but when you set it you will go about 10 mph over what you set it for but after a few minutes you will slow down to what you set it for. The body is in rough shape but is still holding together well. There is rust, paint chipping, and hail damage, just cosmetic stuff that I didn't really care about. I think that is everything about this pickup feel free to email me any questions.
