I am selling a 2005 Chevy Trailblazer EXT Sport Utility 4 Door vehicle. This vehicle currently runs but, does not move...it needs transmission work. The check engine light is currently on; Auto zone ran codes on it, while it was still operational, and said it was the transmission solenoids, which are directly above the transmission pan. I got really busy and kept driving it, and finally it broke down on me (all gears just revved like it was in neutral), and I had to have a flatbed tow it home. I am not equipped to tear it apart, while parked in my driveway. Truck turns on, you can shift through all the gears, and the gear selector lights up correctly on the dash, just does not engage in the transmission I guess. So, it could be a simple fix with replacement solenoids, or the transmission may need repair. Trailblazer has a Pioneer CD player installed, General Grabber AT2 tires with amazing tread left on them. I have had the oil changed regularly, I changed the valve cover gasket , and spark plugs in March of this year. Has drilled/slotted rotors, K&N air filter, interior could use a good cleaning (nothing permanent), and a few inexpensive, and easy to replace interior trim pieces. I purchased this Trailblazer in 2007, when it had 40k on it. This SUV now has 190k on it, and still runs strong! Just didn't have the time or funds to look into the problem, so I just bought another car, now its my loss and your gain! You could end up getting a really good deal on this, depending on the fix. I did have basically the whole top engine rebuilt back in 2012, at 100k, and that is the only engine work that has really needed to be done to it, besides normal tune up stuff.
