I am selling my 79 Super Beetle Convertible. She is beautiful and runs like a champ. The only modernization done to the engine was the addition of an electronic ignition so she fires up more like a modern car. She was smog certified in September 2017. She used to be my daily driver but now she is collecting more dust in my garage than thumbs up from other drivers on the road. I have a boot to cover the top when it is down (see pictures) so that you can go on the freeway without fear. She will need both floor pans replaced in the next couple of years, and I that is a project I do not know how to do.That's why I am selling her so cheap because I know that getting floor pans replaced by professionals can be go up to $2k. You won't fall through the floor or anything, but it should be done if you plan on having the car as long as I have. The car has carpets, front and rear speakers, an aux in line and am/fm radio. I have every bit of paperwork from 2009 on, when I originally purchased her. At that point she had 44,000 miles. I have thoroughly enjoyed the 20,000 miles we've shared together, and I want to find her a good home. Buyer pays all shipping costs or can pick up locally.
