This is a 1956 R50 BMW motorcycle in very good running condition. It was sold in Germany to an American serviceman who brought it back to the United States in the early 1960's. It has Earles-style forks, adjustable rear shocks, and BING carburetors. The mileage listed is in kilometers. Recently, the motorcycle was tuned up and a new battery was installed. I've owned this motorcycle since 1974, and most of its parts are original. The gas tank was repaired and repainted.
