I am selling my old pride and joy. It breaks my heart, but since my neck surgery, I am no longer able to get into the vehicle without hitting my head on the roof, and I need to get a ride that will accommodate three. I have owned this car since 2004 and am the third owner. The car has been garage kept its entire life and has not seen snow or road salt at least since I've owned it. The car runs great! It pulls hard through all 5 gears and corners like its on rails. It is an absolute blast to drive! In my 14 years owning this car I have been through this car from one end to the other...front to back and top to bottom. I do not want to even think about how much time and money I have invested in the car. It originally was a weekend warrior driven about once a week, but during the last 7 years I went through the body, drivetrain, and suspension stripping them down and cleaning them up and then repainting. The last 4 years was spent working on the body and the exterior paint (very limited time available to work on the car). During that time, it was started once a month and run until it got up to temperature. So here goes...on to the details. * The mileage listed is accurate. It is NOT rolled over. I have service documents from both previous owners to back that up. I purchased the car with 92719 miles on it and since I have put on the remaining 3006 miles. * Anything listed as new, below, has been installed within the last 3006 miles.*It is a resto mod, as you will see in the pictures. All of the original equipment that I removed or replaced will come with the car (see below for specifics). Body*Stripped down to bare metal and repainted. White Epoxy Primer, Grey Urethane Pimer, Single Stage Urethane Top Coat, and Clear Coat* All panels clean - Almost no repair work needed - One spot on Pass Rear Wheel arch and on both fenders behind the wheel arch down low.* Found the hood had previous body work right at the point of the raised section over the valve cover.* These are the only 4 locations of filler. - Used Duraglass filler* Rockers are original and rust free* Floor boards original and rust free* Drivers side frame rail was replaced under floor board* Passenger side frame rail has minor rust spots (I was planning to replace it only because my frame rail is better than OEM)* Rear of car, from the rear wheels back, underside is pristine.* Engine Bay Frame Rails are clean and rust free with one exception - Passenger Side above Tension Rod.* Installed MSA Urethane Air Dam and installed 240z front turn signal assemblies* Original Owner replaced OE large crash bumpers with the 240z bumpers* Removed Front Bumper and installed custom grille (Front bumper and original grille will come with car)* Designed and fabricated custom billet aluminum grille - Steel Mounting frame - 1/4 Aluminum plate cut using a CNC waterjet machine and polished - This is 100% custom and unique - It truly is a one-of-a-kind Engine* New performance aluminum radiator from MSA* New Air Flow Meter* New Fuel Injectors* Installed MSA 3into2 Ceramic Coated Headers and complete performance exhaust system with Flowmaster muffler* Taylor 8mm spark plug wires* New Water Pump* Removed A/C Compressor, Condenser Coil and all associated hoses and piping from firewall up (all removed components will come with car)* Engine removed in 2011-All components stripped/cleaned and repainted* Polished and painted valve cover * Sandblasted and painted air cleaner Transmission* Replaced original 4-speed manual transmission with 5-speed transmission from a 1978 280Z (4-speed will come with the car)* Removed in 2011-Wire Brushed* New Centerforce II clutch* New throw out bearing Rear End* Rebuilt Half Shafts - New Spicer U-Joints and Boots - Painted* Replaced differential mounts - Urethane Mousthace Bar bushings and new stock front mount Suspension - Front and Rear and Steering* New Struts all around - KYB* Replaced all control arm bushings all around - Urethane* Installed Eibach performance springs* Installed Urethane bump stops all around* New Wheel Bearings-Front* New Stub Shaft Bearings-Rear* New Ball Joints* New Outer Tie Rods* New Steering Rack boots* Replaced Steering Rack mount bushings-Urethane* Replaced Sway Bar end links all around-Urethane* Removed rear suspension assembly-Stripped/Cleaned and Repainted* Removed front suspension assemblies-Stripped/Cleaned and Repainted* Removed Steering Rack-Stripped/Cleaned and Repainted Brakes* New Rotors* Stainless Steel Performance Brake Lines all around* Rear drum brake hardware all replaced* Rebuilt rear brake wheel cylinders* New performance brake pads and shoes Interior* Replaced seat upholstery and foam-Both Seats* Dash is 100% all original-NO CAP and NO CRACKS* Installed Grant Mahogany steering wheel (OE steering wheel will come with the car-Excellent condition)* Installed Sony stereo and speakers with plug to connect iPod (set up is a little dated, but sounds great)* Rear interior plastic panels have minor discoloration due to sun damage As you can see I never planned to part with this vehicle...never say never. I have many spare parts that all come with the car. There are several large totes and tool boxes full of parts. Some mentioned above other assorted miscellaneous parts. I have an extra differential and four extra half shafts. I also have the original exhaust manifold. The winning bidder has the right of refusal-if you want them, they are yours, if not they will be scrapped. You will also get all of the documentation that I have for this vehicle. I have the OE Service Manual-Hardcopy Pages and electronic pdf. I have the Haynes Manual and the Chilton Manual in printed form.
