Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is this rare '27 Oldsmobile Boattail Speedster. This car has its original flathead six and 3 speed on the floor manual transmission. The car has a 6 volt electric fuel pump. It has been sitting in a garage since about 1980. It starts, runs and drives. The brakes are excellent. It could use some fine tuning, however, starts and runs. (Carb adjusted, timing or etc.) It has 4.75-5.00 x 20 BF Goodrich tires that look new.(See Pics) Very nice disc wheels. It has a new lexan windshield and new carpet. The gauges are in the original dash. The amp works, however, the gas gauge & speedo do not work. The headlights work, with one lens having a crack in it. It has nice chrome bumpers. The paint is amateur and still looks decent. THe original brass radiator is in exceptional shape. It is very fun to drive and ride in, however, there is not top! This is a nice sound old speedster and a very rare find. It would be great for parades and certainly one of a kind at any car show! And it is affordable too! The numbers on the engine match to VIN# on the title. Please contact me with questions or discuss this car. The car is also for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction early.
