Vehicle Detail
This is a strong running old car. According to its last owner the motor was recently gone through, the brakes have been done from the brake booster all the way down to the pads. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly. This car is fun to drive, and yes it has the 455.4 CI V8. The interior is in great shape for the age of the car, yes there is some wear but it is still comfy with no big issues. The power steering is a bit sticky at idle and low speeds but once you get going it works great. You may be able to bump the idle to resolve that, I am not sure but once you get going it works awesome, like driving a boat. There are a couple of rust spots, especially on the right rear wheel well area, check out the photos, but for the most part this old car is solid. The only areas that look concerning to me are on the right rear quarter and the spot behind the front marker light. The half dollar size spot on the right rear wheel well looks like cancer and perhaps in front of that same wheel on the lower portion of the quarter. Otherwise it looks solid. The crack on the inner trunk area is some sort of sealer. Please note that the driver's side door did not want to open from the inside today, don't know what's up with that but...
