It's been cared for all it's life with hand waxing only and never stored outside (Important for a car that is basically a computer with wheels). For anyone who hasn't owned a Tesla, it's basically a car from the future that is here today. One test drive and you'll be convinced as I was that all other sedans (and sports cars) are pretty much obsolete. It corners like it's on rails, accelerates faster than a top-end Ferrari or Lamborghini, seats as many people as a mini-van, yet is as quiet as canoeing down a river, and is basically maintenance free. When there are issues (rare), Tesla dispatches a technician to your house to do any repairs free of charge. If they need to keep your car, they provide a Tesla loaner car so you're not without your electric luxury transport. This Tesla is a 9 out of 10 exterior and 9.9 out of 10 interior (still smells like a new car inside). Any wear and tear is minimal for a car with ~25K miles. There are minor rock chips (only a small handful) that can be easily touched up if you choose to with the included Tesla OEM touch up paint. There is one small door ding on the passenger side rear just above the wheel that I touched up and is barely noticeable. Each wheel has either minor marks or minor curb wear (you can see it in the pictures). I've been told by Tesla that this can be repaired for ~$100/wheel, but I don't think it's that noticeable and I would personally prefer the OEM wheel paint over any repair work. Other than that, the car is 100% perfect and looks like it did when it was on the showroom floor when I picked it up. Full Warranty details (from Tesla.com): Basically everything is working as new when you get it, but if anything does crop up, it's still under full factory warranty just like it was when it was new. Below are the details of what the Tesla warranty entails:Your Model S and X are covered by the New Vehicle Limited Warranty, which includes the Basic Vehicle Limited Warranty, the Supplemental Restraint System (“SRS”) Limited Warranty, and the Battery and Drive Unit Limited Warranty. The Basic Vehicle Limited Warranty covers the repair or replacement necessary to correct defects in the materials or workmanship of any Model S or X parts manufactured or supplied by Tesla that occur under normal use for a period of 4 years or 50,000 miles (80,000 km), whichever comes first. The SRS Limited Warranty covers the repair or replacement necessary to correct defects in the materials or workmanship of the vehicle's seat belts or airbag system manufactured or supplied by Tesla that occur under normal use for a period of 5 years or 60,000 miles (100,000 km), whichever comes first. The Battery and Drive Unit Limited Warranty covers the repair or replacement of any malfunctioning or defective Model S or X lithium-ion battery for a period of 8 years or unlimited miles/km, with the exception of the original 60 kWh battery (manufactured before 2015) that is covered for a period of 8 years or 125,000 miles (200,000 km), whichever comes first. To provide you with even more assurance, the Battery and Drive Unit Limited Warranty will also cover damage to your vehicle from a battery fire even if it is the result of driver error, subject to certain exclusions. If you were waiting until the price came down, now is your chance to own a reliable exotic car at a fraction of what it cost new. Tesla cars really shouldn't be on the same depreciation curve as normal gas/oil cars because they don't degrade in the same way. With new tires and a coat of wax, this car is 99% the way it was when it was new, unlike their gas counterparts where you are not sure of how they were maintained and might be significantly compromised depending on the owner and how it was cared for/driven. With Tesla, everything is computer controlled and it actually get's better with age (faster acceleration, better autopilot, and complimentary upgrades when warranty work is being done). No other car manufacturer is like that. I've owned many Lexus, Infiniti, Cadillac, and Mercedes cars. They are all great in their own luxury car category, but Tesla breaks the mold and changes the rules. No longer do you have to hassle with dealers or bring your car back for oil changes. No longer do you have to even stop for gas. Your car will always start the day out fully "fueled up" and ready to go, just like your cell phone and you don't even have to think about it. Are you thinking of taking this thing cross country? Well never before have you been able to do that so inexpensively. Other than your time and tire wear, it's free...forever with this particular model. There are over 1,229 superchargers across the country (and more coming daily) so you can literally drive forever without having to pay to charge it. Unlike some other Tesla's that are for sale, this one has no known issues and absolutely NO paintwork or accidents. That's important on a car this sophisticated. Get the peace of mind that you're getting the best of the best with this extremely high performance and rare exotic for an excellent price.I took over 100 pictures and described this car to the absolute best of my knowledge. There is nothing that will surprise you, other than how good of a deal you're getting by saving ~$60,000+ over what it cost new.Click here (or copy-paste in your browser) for the gallery of 100+ high resolution pictureshttps://www.smugmug.com/gallery/n-nHSVFV
