PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING Many updates the last few days. (Only bid with 100% sole intention making a deposit in 24HRS after auction and following through with transaction) This was a barn find that I painfully brought back to life. I purchased this from a barn in MD in which the grandson inherited. This was his grandfathers bike that he didn't ride much (3622miles) and left it sit for 25 years before he past. Only 5k of these were ever produced and not many still on the road. 0 available for years with low miles and clean title...kinda a real good barn find. Runs and shifts great... 1 Owner, 3622 Mile Liquid Cooled Magna Killer V4 Muscle Cruiser. A little tank work, paint and tune up....that's it...This will bring the bikes value to good\excellent Hagerty Market Price $2900-3700 (which i don't think they are taking account the scarcity of the motorcycle the last few years) I believe with some chrome work and some time it could bring the value over $5000 if the market conditions hold its course....could trend much higher as soon as 4 yrs from now. Nice bike? Yes! Investment.....hummm. Im going to say yes. Dont look at NADA or KBB. These people don't have a clue any longer. At least when it comes to motorcycles and market conditions and trends. I'm noticing NADA and KBB at all over the place with price on with cars now too. Whats been done.... orig OEM side installed. Installed new rear signals as close as OEM as I could find. Came as a set of 4. You will have 2 spare. I cleaned and soaked the carbs and cleaned air filter. I removed the tank and soaked it to remove most of the rust. I oiled cables and freed the brakes which were seized. I removed all road grime and pitted rust and aluminum. I sanded and painted motor along with polishing motor cases, bringing the aluminum back to where it will need final polish. I removed just about all rust from spokes. I painted areas of the bikes frame that had surface rust or just aged baldly. The bike runs and shifts as it should. There are no oil or fluid leaks. Radiator, thermostat, fan and sensor function as they should. All electrical is 100% factory and working as it should. Indicators are bright and all function as should. Horn works as it should. Headlights, high beam and signals are bright and work as they should. Throttle, clutch and all buttons are smooth and work as they should. Pressurized forks hold air and function as they should. Adjustable 5 position rear suspension works as it should. All locks have been oiled and function with there one orig key as should. The motor and gears are tight and function like new. I have the original key, owners manual and title. I also have the shop manual in PDF form. The bike will need a complete tune up and maintenance according to shop manual.(oil/lube, brakes bled, plugs, coolant) Carbs are fine now. Hoses are in good condition but I recommend replacing them due to age. Tires seem to be orig with a very small amount of dry cracking between the treads and not the sidewalls. The rear shows wear but still have tread. There is still a slight popping from right... (sputter/popping is due to a bad plug on the right front...I seen the arch) The Project: A little tank work, paint and tune up....thats it...This bike deserves it...The tank has a good dent in it with rust in the tank in which i got a lot of it out.. (not rusted through...no holes in tank)..... Will need repaired and sealed and painted. The rear fender will need to be painted as well because of surface rust ( I sanded it and flat blacked it). I just ordered side covers and they are black and good condition but clear is pealing a bit and should be painted too.... Final polish. If your smart enough to read this far then your probably smart enough to know if you get the bike for under 1800 its probably a flip with no work other then transporting it hint (home depot truck if you dont own one)
