1965 Chevrolet Corvair condition: excellent cylinders: 6 cylinders drive: rwd fuel: gas odometer: 40,xxx paint color: blue title status: clean transmission: automatic type: coupe I am selling my 1965 Corvair Monza. The motor is a 95 HP pancake 6 cylinder. I does drip a little oil like most older cars. The transmission is a 2 speed power glide. The car has what I believe are 40,xxx original miles. I still drive the car so the mileage will go up. Interior appears to be original. There is a tear in the drivers vinyl seat but included in this sale is a set of new vinyl seat covers and seat foam. Just last year I put new cardboard in the package tray and carpet covering on that. I installed an aftermarket stereo that is mounted under the dash. All gauges and lights work. The Corvair was originally Cameo Beige but I had it professionally stripped to bare metal and painted Blue (mid 90's color). Very little rust was found when the car was stripped. Any that was found was repaired and sealed before painting. I have photos of the car throughout the repaint. The added a center console with cup holders and extra storage. I have added side mirrors which are 55-57 chevy design and had LED directional turn signals in them. I added an antenna from a 61 Impala and that has a teardrop shape. The rims are early 70's chevy rally wheels. The tires have about 3k miles on them and were brand new in 2015. I purchased a new spare tire in 2018. I have installed a new fuel pump and belt this spring. You could drive this car anywhere you want to tomorrow. I have the original protecta plate as well as information on the previous owners. Included in the sale of the car is:-original hubcaps-set of NOS bumperettes and brackets-New dual master cylinder (old one works but is a single bowl)- More photo's are available upon request-Car is located in Ankeny, Iowa. -I have the title in hand.
