Vehicle Detail
Running daily. Mileage to increase as it's driven periodically. Inspected until Sept 2018. Will only need a gas tank strap. Everything else on it pretty much has been replaced. Used parts and new parts. Has the 304 V8 automatic. Not sure if 76000 or 176000 miles. Clear title. Will help your shipper get it on their truck. Any questions, please email. I have no other camera to take any more pictures. The original grill was smashed by a deer. Found a 79 Scout SSII front grill which is on it at this time. Carb was changed from Holley to Motorcraft 2150. Much better fuel economy as well as performance. Too many numerous parts that are new to mention but I'll start from the beginning.Radiator, starter, battery, carb, brake vacuum booster as well as brake master cylinder, rear air shocks, tires new last year...don't have 500 miles on them (Snow Trakker). Front wheel bearings, rear brake shoes, front brake pads, and both Warn Premium Gold 4WD lock hubs. I'm sure I'm missing something. It basically sits in the garage most of the time and I would like to see somebody get it and use it for what it is or possibly have it painted and restored. If I end up keeping it and having it painted, the price will reflect greatly as these are getting very hard to find, especially in this condition. I do have the build sheet for it from the day it was new. It does NOT have a back seat in it and it never did since the day I bought it. This is a no reserve auction. $500 deposit within 24 hours of close of auction--NON-Refundable. If you're sending a shipper to get the vehicle. After payment is made in full, the title will be signed in the correct spots and placed in the glove box. Title is clear and in my name. Also I should mention that it may for inspection, need a small amount of exhaust work. It's not overly loud but there is a small exhaust leak underneath. Again, no reserve auction...winning bidder at end will win the Scout. Serious inquiries only...only on for 1 week.Vehicle to be paid in full before shipper arrives or you can bring CASH upon pickup. Remember we will have to change the title out before the vehicle leaves my property. Good luck bidding. Someone will be getting a very reliable vehicle. If you get this one stuck you messed up! Auction could end any time being that Scout is for sale through other publications. If we receive first bid through ebay then the auction runs on until the time runs out. Local sale will be out of the question at this point (unless it is somebody local bidding on it). To sum it up for you all if you know anything about Scouts during the years they were built they did not have good steel due to munitions for our military. Our military went with jeeps and basically farmers started using the Scouts. Everyone of them has rust somewhere unless it has already been completely restored. You see what they are going for. I feel I've been as honest as I can be in describing this vehicle. It drives, it shifts, it stops, and best of all it can be a convertible in a matter of minutes. Thank you for viewing our Scout.
