1961 Austin Vanden Plas Princess 4-litre Limousine. This well preserved example was imported to the United States in 1977. Privately owned and kept in an enclosed garage in Huntington Beach California. Never been used as a limousine or commercial use. First time offered for sale since 1977! odometer shows 29548 miles believe to be original miles.(they were offered either miles or kilometers speedo). it bares a chassis number "1002" It is original for the most part except for the driver seat leather. there are numerous wear and tear spots on the interior and exterior giving it a well worn patina & character. All the interior wood appears to be original and good condition. However please note it is not a concourse or show quality. The mohair headliner and and a matching rear privacy curtain are in good condition. the curtain is operated mechanically by the driver. All instruments are working and original. there is a Magnavox 8-track stereo fitted under the dash with speakers dropped in the front door pockets without any cut or modification to the car.It has a sliding glass partition between the driver and rear passengers. the driver door window drops up and down properly with quick release. Under the bonnet it is all stock and original as well. No signs of cancerous rust thanks to mostly aluminum body. Driven regularly around town. 4 speed manual transmission works and shifts through all gears, original operating manual still with the car as well as set of original keys! Current registration with original pink slip from 1977. A pair of California blue plate from 1977 when it was imported as well as the british license plate, a tool kit and few spare parts are in the under carriage compartment. All doors locks, lights and gages except the clock and horn seems to be working. I do have more detailed picture on a dropbox. please inquire if you like to see them.
