In 1962 FORD built Thunderbird Convertibles with Dealer Add On Sports Roadster Packages. After a few months they decided to give the Sports Roadster its own body style and handleing features and built Factory Sports Roadsters, true Sports Roadsters, came from the factory with no rear sskirts and no pins in rear wells, as the Kelsey Hayes Wire Wheels would not clear the skirts, Dealer installed wheels did, and if you see a roadster with skirts and or pins, it is not the real deal. This car is the latter. It is an all original unmolested car with actual milage. If you are looking for a Sports Roadster to restore or Drive as is to shows this is it. This car is optioned with AIR and Power Seats & Windows, there is no rust in doors or rockers and runs and drives well, top works well. I got his car as a barn find, we replaced the gas tank, rebuilt carb, replaced some of top hydrolics and fired her up. you will not be dissapointed with this car.
