NO RESERVE. HIGH BIDDER OWNS THE TRUCK (253)229-9377 Feel free to call me with any questions. My phone will be off until Thursday afternoon May 24th due to overseas travel for work. I'm reluctantly offering my 1972 K20 Custom Camper for sale due to the purchase of a property that needs some work. I was using this truck as a driver until I had time to make it my next project but, my attention will be focused on this property for the next few years. Between my hectic work schedule and wanting to redo this house, I feel it would be better to let another enthusiast own the truck at this point. This is a factory A/C, Posi, K20 Custom Camper with a clear title in my name and SPID intact. Clear Washington Title in my name. I have owned 4 other 69-72 K10's or K20's in the past 10 years. Even though all looked relatively solid when I bought them, I ended up replacing the rockers and cab corners for peace of mind. All I have sold on ebay to happy new owners. 1 went to Georgia, 1 to Nantucket, 1 local, and 1 to Utah. We are lucky to have a great selection of these trucks in the Northwest. Needless to say, I know these trucks very well and familiar with the issues they are prone to. Almost all of them have rust issues in the cab corners and rockers. Some have been bondoed up or hopefully repaired correctly. Knowing that, I'm not afraid to purchase one that needs work in these areas as I prefer to have them replaced with new metal correctly. I purchased this truck as it had some things I must have when I purchase one of these for my next project. Rock solid firewall and cowl. Rock solid rain gutters and windshield pinch weld. Well optioned Custom Camper with posi and A/C. Original unmolested truck with the original radio hole intact. An aftermarket radio was installed at some point but, the hole was not cut. Original SPID intact and readable, blue door sticker with VIN, and original VIN plate with correct rivets. I'm also a huge fan of this copper color and the truck retains the original paint on the interior and firewall which I was going to leave intact when I painted the truck back to its original copper/white color combo with parchment interior will be stunning. The original engine and transmission are recently rebuilt. Truck runs smooth as silk. Does not smoke, runs as you would expect a freshly rebuilt engine to. I cannot believe how nice this truck idles one it reaches operating temperature. I will send videos of it running to any interested parties. I've driven the truck extensively around the local area. Goes down the freeway at 60-65. I'm guessing 4.11 gears. All marker lights, tail lights, headlights, and signals work. The original A/C compressor, brackets, condenser, steering column(currently has a mid 80's tilt column installed) are included. Original rubber floor covering in good condition. The upside of this truck is the engine and transmission have been rebuilt and it is a fairly original truck. The down fall is it will need some superficial sheet metal replacement due to a cheap paint and body job done 15 years ago. The truck will need patches or replacement metal on the fenders, doors, rockers, cab corners, and bed. My plan was to buy a rust free donor 2wd long bed from Eastern Washington or Oregon and use the bed, fenders, doors. Like I said, the important impossible to repair cowl and roof are in rock solid shape. The cab supports are all rock solid and do not require replacement which is rare since they hold dirt/mud. The cab bushings are also in great shape and do not require replacement! I have a clear title in my name. Rear canopy locks and I have the key for it. You can drive the truck home at your own risk. Probably safer and cost effective to just have it shipped home. I'm guessing shipping will run $400-$1000 depending on where it is going. Feel free to call me at 253-229-9377. My phone will be off until May 24th as I will be out of the country for work until then.$500 deposit through paypal, wire transfer, certified check due within 24 hours. Full payment due same way within 72 hours.
