First up at Orphan Car Garage is an amazing find. The year was 1983 and convertibles were making a huge comeback. GM entered the fold with the Cavalier. Said to have only built 700, each was white with a blue top and interior and only issued to high volume dealers as a way to draw traffic into the showroom that up until then, were still bestowing the virtues of the less than perfect Citation. The new convertible was fresh and new and a welcome change. When was the last time you saw one? When was the last time you saw one this clean and original? I've been collecting cars practically since I could walk and still, the condition of this car blew me away. Allegedly owned by a prominat physician in up state New York and only driven summers with little or no exposure to snow, rain or salt. All factory stock and functional. Fully equipped with power windows, AM/FM Delco cassette, cruise control and air conditioning (kicks on but could use a charge). With it's economical 2.0 liter EFI powertrain, this car would make a great daily driver for the upcoming summer months. Laser straight and clean, one look will make you a believer. Recently fully serviced with fresh fluids and filters, full tune, new tires and exhaust, clean Massachusetts title and just professionally reconditioned, it's ready to go.
