Vehicle Detail
1957 Chevy 2 door hardtop found in barn some years ago had interior seats and foam all refinished , engine is 283 fully rebuilt along with a rebuilt 350 turbo transmission . Car has some small rust areas but is generally solid has drum brakes and runs and drives very well - this car should not be restored it needs to be driven exactly as is. I do not have the fuel injection unit for the car it is a toss up as to if it is a real fuel injection car two younger guys said it wasn’t but two very old guys said it was - it had a vacume windshield wiper assembly when I first got it “that is a big clue “ but I am unsure so I am pricing it as such I am willing to help your shipper load car or help put into container for international shipping message me for phone number if you have questions car is located near the freeway in baycity Michigan/thanks Brian Lots of questions - yes car has 35 year old paint patina and is a lot like a time capsule - always steals the show - people are always blown away by its looks my phone number is 989 -213-610 nine. Another question that gets asked a lot - can I drive it home —-yes it will drive to California without any troubles . More questions- the front end is rebuilt, tie rod ends ,shocks etc. brakes are all new - fuel tank is new new carpet new headliner - also this was a covered dash car as you can see from the pictures what’s left is still there another “fuel injection clue”- yes old tachometer was in car when I found it and works- bottom of car is not rusty but someone replaced the floors with correct stamped panels . Only the roof has the rust peaking through - so only one of you will be lucky enough to own her - and I will be sad to see her go - the only real question is will who will love her like I do ?
