Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is my 2001 Jeep Cherokee. It’s the 60th Anniversary Edition. The 60th anniversary model came with embroidered floor mats, 16” wheels, badges, etc. I’m the second owner and have owned it since 2004. It has 126,700 original miles. I drove it about 7,000 miles a year. I’ve never taken it off road, and it’s never been beat. It has the straight 6cyl., (4.0), engine and runs strong. The Automatic Trans and 4-Wheel Drive system work great as well. All Power windows & Door locks, Keyless entry, Rear defrost and wiper, Heat and A/C all work. I had fog lights installed a while back too. It has a Clear OH title in my name. I have FULL SERVICE RECORDS - I’ve kept up on the maintenance and have all the receipts for parts and service with many oil change receipts, etc. Here’s a partial list: Just changed oil + filter again @ 126,350 miles New headlights installed March, 2018, (original ones were just too dim). Brand new Goodyear Wrangler Tires installed at 125,628 miles, Feb. 2018, so a 1,000 miles on them. Also, had a front-end alignment done at this time. New Steering Gear Assembly and Lower Control Arms Feb. 2017. (Steering gear was making a clunk when I turned sharp right so I replaced it along with the lower control arms). New Inner Left/Right Tie Rod Ends installed Aug. 2016, (I was chasing a slight front-end shimmy-it only happened @ 55mph then went away, turned out it was the tires and alignment, no more 55mph shimmy!) New Track Bar and Steering Damper installed Aug. 2016 New U-Joint in drive shaft installed June, 2015, (made a clunk when put in gear). New Winter Wiper Blades and New Oil Fill Cap, (old cap had a small crack in it) installed May, 2016 New Monroe Shocks, April, 2015 New Serpentine Belt April, 2015 New Front Brake Pads and New Rear Drums replaced July, 2014 @ 113,500 miles New Gear Oil, (in rear end), June, 2014 New Battery installed Jan. 2014 And many more receipts for oil changes, etc… The Body is straight with a few door dents, a few paint scratches, and minor surface rust located on the bottom of the rear, driver’s side rear door, and under the rear window driver’s side where the drain hole is, each spot is less than dime size but not ate through, see pics). However, the door edges, rockers, fenders, wheel wells, etc., are still solid with light surface rust. I did spray some of the undercarriage a while back since the springs, and some of the suspension parts had some surface rust. Obviously doesn’t affect anything but just didn’t like the way it looked. The hood and grill have some minor specs of paint missing, (this can be seen in picture 3), but it still shines great and is a very clean overall vehicle considering its 17 year old paint! Interior is also in very good condition with a small rip just on the side of the driver’s seat only a couple inches long, (see pic), but overall the interior is in very good condition with no cracks to dash, no major stains, etc. The stereo works and has both a CD player and Cassette Tape. However, the left front speaker is currently not working, (probably a wire). Also, the shocks on the rear hatch don’t work so well in the cold weather, (when it’s warmer out they work fine). As mentioned, it has the embroidered 60th anniversary floor mats and I have a pair of winter rubber “Jeep” floor mats as well. I am missing one of the rear floor mats, (not sure what happened to it!). The Rear defrost and rear wiper work. All the power windows work. All the lights, blinkers, and interior lights work. The cruise control works, and the cruise light comes on. I have the original owner’s manual as well. As you can see, I’ve tried to describe everything about my Jeep as best I can. This vehicle is solid, runs great, and has many more miles to go! My pictures don’t do it justice. I am not a dealer and do not want to trade for anything. Feel free to contact me with any questions. PAYMENT: All sales are final. I’ve set a reasonable reserve. A $500.00 deposit is required and the final balance due 7 days from auction close. I’ll accept a bank cashier’s check or cash. Bid with confidence and good luck! Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE
