The Carmi Illinois Police Department is offering the following vehicle for sale through eBay auction. I am the Chief of Police for the Department and am responsible for selling said vehicle. 2011 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor 4.6L V8 FFV Engine with 107,610 Miles This vehicle was purchased new in 2011 by the Carmi Police Department from Landmark Ford on State Contract for $21,752.00. The first year it was spent as a front line patrol vehicle. In mid 2012 it was transitioned and outfitted for our K9 vehicle. It has been used as a K9 vehicle since 2012 until April when a new vehicle was purchased by the Department. The Carmi Police Department owns the vehicle and has a clear title to it. The vehicle must be sold according to Illinois law and must be sold in an auction type setting. There is NO buy it now option. We will NOT accept any trades for this vehicle. The vehicle is being sold AS-IS and with NO existing Warranty; neither express nor implied. All sales are final. No price adjustments will be given. No returns will be accepted. This vehicle will be sold to the highest bidder after the Starting Price has been Satisfied. There is NO reserve on this vehicle. POSITIVES: The vehicle body/paint are in good condition. The vehicle shows normal wear and tear. It does have minor damage to the passenger side bottom of door on the white part. The vehicle did have Police Marking and after removal you can still see places where the stickers were. This may come off with a wash/wax and buff. NADAGUIDES.COM list the vehicle as follows: Clean Retail $7225 Rough Trade In $3250 Avg Trade In $4325 Clean Trade In $5200 Vehicle has received regular maintenance by City Mechanic with Oil Changes and Tire Rotation every 5,000 miles and maintenance of any issues. Items most recently replaced include: New Spotlight March 2017, New Coolant Fan August 2017, New Headlight Assemblies August 2017, New plugs and wires November 2017, New upper and lower ball joints, arm supports, both struts with front alignment November 2017, New alternator December 2017. As shown, anytime something was wrong it was fixed and replaced immediately as it was an Emergency Response Police Vehicle. The vehicle is a 2WD/RWD, 4-door vehicle, automatic transmission, and uses gasoline. The vehicle is in good running condition. The vehicle has a new spare tire with jack all housed in the trunk. Large trunk for storage. The vehicle comes with 5 sets of keys. Comes with K9 Dog Kennel installed in rear. This is an American Aluminum Kennel with Door Popper installed. Also has a RESCUE heat alarm installed with two remotes for such and comes with exhaust fan installed on rear DS door. Although the Kennel is installed in the rear we also still have the original seats and rear door covers for the vehicle that also comes with the vehicle in order for buyer to transition back to a full passenger vehicle. Since this was a patrol vehicle there is still a DS spotlight that works and is installed. Also has middle police console installed and left with the vehicle as seen in photo. Mileage is 107,610 Miles Idle Hours 5184 HRS Air Conditioner, Dual Air Bags, Power Windows, Bucket Seats, Power Remote Control Mirrors, Heated Mirrors, AM/FM Stereo, Interval Wipers, Rear Defroster, Police Suspension, 200 AMP Generator, Fail Safe Cooling, Front Side Air Bags, Power Locks, Heavy Duty Frame, Dual Exhaust Stainless Steel, Police Dome Light, Engine Oil Cooler, Tilt Wheel, Anti-Lock Brakes, Rubber Flooring, 3.55 Limitedslip Rear Axle, Tutone Black and White Paint, interior trunk popper, rear and rear side windows tinted. Negatives: The vehicle does show wear and tear inside as it has been a K9 vehicle for the last 6 years. The passenger side back of seat is ripped as seen in photo from the K9 chewing on it after first being in vehicle. The drivers side floor board has a rip down center from boots wearing hole in and ripping. The steering wheel was flaking off shortly after getting it so a cover was placed on the wheel to prevent any further damage. Some areas from Police Marking Stickers can still be observed on the exterior of the paint. This could probably be buffed out of the paint. Also as noted above and in photo, damage to Passenger side bottom door. The vehicle will need a professional cleaning/detailing on the interior.
