Vehicle Detail

This 1930 Ford Model A sat in a museum until 1985. At which point it was purchased by the most recent owners and stored indoors. This Model A has spent the vast majority of its life indoors. It is a very straight car that I believe was restored some time ago. It is not perfect but it is in really good shape and its current condition is a testament to the quality of restoration it under went. It is clear that this Model A has always been cared for. When you open the doors, the smell immediately takes you back to an old library. With this Model A comes a whole lot of extra goodies. A quality car cover, new floor mats, original manuals, tools, and a lot more (see photos). The body of the Model A is in great shape. It does not appear to have any major rust issues. The paint is an older single stage that was clearly done right but it is starting to show its age in areas. There is also one spot of trim that is missing along the drivers side running board. All of the glass through out the car is in great shape. The wheels are also in great shape and while the tires do still hold air, they do have their share of dry areas. The interior of the Model A is in great shape. The seats are still wrapped in plastic and the material seems to be in great shape. There is some peeling around the dash. The instrument panel, steering wheel, and column are in good shape. The mechanical aspect of this Model A is unknown. It was driven in to a garage about two years ago and has sat since. When parked, it was said to be in excellent mechanical order. According to the previous owner, the Model A was upgraded to "electric brakes". I do have a clear title for this Model A. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to call or text. 816-308-0351 On May-04-18 at 22:51:01 PDT, seller added the following information: UPDATE Here are some photos that include some of the documentation that comes with this Model A. It is about an inch thick. This documentation includes old insurance agreements dating back to the late 80's. All of which indicate a replacement value of $9,000. You will also find prior owner history, receipts. correspondence between the previous owners and the Model A club they had belonged too. Probably the most interesting piece is a cassette tape that covers an interview between two of the previous owners. There is a lot of documentation and literature that comes with this Model A. All of which appears to have been collected over nearly forty years. One big question I have received is in regards to the mechanical aspect of this Model A. Today my son and I took the crank to the engine and found that the engine turns freely. Beyond this, I have not checked anything else. Please keep in mind that we also just recently purchased the Model A, got a deal on it, and decided to pass it on by just throwing it on eBay. While I do appreciate the Model A's, they are just unfortunately beyond my understanding. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to call or text 816-308-0351.
