Vehicle Detail

This is the happiest bike on the planet. It screams vintage adventure :) 1974 Honda ST90. CLEAR TITLE. This is functioning. California Registered. Runs daily, and not kept in garage collecting dust. Great for on and off road adventures. I’ve had this bike since 2010, and it runs incredibly well. New carb installed last year, see photos. Front turn signals, high, low beam, neutral indicator, high beam indicator all function except the odometer, and speedometer. New gas tank installed, oil changed last year..you are good for another thousand miles. Actual speedometer I’m guessing should read 8500 +. Bike has new battery, installed less than 6 months ago. Battery should be kept level with distilled water, etc. I can show you if you are new to these bikes. Everything inside is clean and well-maintained (regular oil changes done every couple thousand miles). I bought an odometer and speedometer I’ve never had the time to install. I will give these to the new owner for free (a working odometer is not even available last time I checked for under $100 on ebay). Also have second set of rubber pegs, kick start (extra—mine was welded on, but got a second one for backup), and charging system set up with the battery (you will receive two chargers, since they are not the best brand). Battery is 6 volt. I’ve had two of these bikes in my life, and in both cases, the battery dies when the headlight is on for several minutes. It just doesn’t have enough juice. The same is true if the turn signal is on for like 10 minutes on neutral etc. So—everything should be fine, so long as you don’t drive this at night (or if you do, short distances, without stalling at street lights with your headlamp on). Good bike for daytime local transportation. Speedo doesn’t work, but easily goes 40-45+ miles per hour on short freeways, so long as you’re in good shape and not over 200 lbs (the lighter you are, the faster the bike will run). No problems starting the bike on the first go with the choke when it’s cold…I love this bike and I’m not in a hurry to sell it. I just feel like I could use more garage space. No personal checks accepted. No trades—I have too much crap in my garage. Plastic installed in seat to prevent shorts (haven't had any for 6 months with this plastic, and I use it daily!). I have kept up with all of the services and bike maintenance. It runs wonderfully. Serious inquiries only. Please do not call with bogus offers…I’m too old and too tired to deal with nonsense inquiries. And I’ve had plenty of them not to mention it here (even within minutes of listing the bike...so funny). Bike comes with kryptonite lock with two keys, extra speedo cable (never installed), backup speedometer/odometer, plus extra foot pegs and a kick starter, extra brakes, extra kick started (this is welded on, but you never know). Registered in California for over a decade. Was here when I bought it. I think I’m the second owner of this bike, but I’m unsure. Again, had it for 7 or 8 years, and never disappointed me. A good, reliable, solid friend. Payment due in full in 48 hours via paypal or cash in person or cashier's check (keep reading). Will mail pink slip or exchange in person for cash or mailed Wells Fargo Cashier's Check. NO PERSONAL CHECKS. Buyer is responsible for pickup or for paying transportation for bike. Will be happy to coordinate bike pickup with your hauling company of choice. Reasonable offers welcome. The person who this bike make happiest will love it without any hesitation at first sight, like I have. That's the kind of owner I'm seeking. I hope to find that buyer in person or online, and it will be self-evident I'm sure by the communication and the offer. Again---crummy offers are not deserving of my bike...and I'd rather keep it and give it to my friends or family. Bike is worth more to me than 2 or even 5 grand, just because it's never let me down. Hard to find even people like that. On May-03-18 at 19:20:56 PDT, seller added the following information: If the reserve is not met--I'm not going to repost this motorcycle here, because I'm tired of paying listing fees to unappreciative folks. I'll keep it and spend more time with it if that's the case.
