1964 Ford Galaxie 500 Convertible Automatic transmission with a Ford 390 with an aluminum 427 intake 4V. Purchased over 20 years ago and has been stored inside a building (hasn't been on the road in over 30 years). It was someone else's project many many years ago - then ours and now yours? This project car and can be best described as a hodge podge of parts. We are not selling this as a 427 car. The data plate describes the car as 1964 2 Door Convertible Galaxie 500 Metallic Chantilly Beige Medium Beige Produced in Los Angeles Cruisomatic transmission and 3:50 gears. The color is now blue (the beige can still be seen in the trunk area), blue interior, 390 engine, automatic transmission and not sure of the gear ratio, frame is original convertible big block dual exhaust. It has 427 emblems, some 500XL parts, some 500 parts so all sorts of models together. Roof bows and convertible are all intact and good condition, car is clean (originally from Washington), original quarters and floors, very clean, runs and drives for easy loading (everything should be gone through mechanically during restoration), new gas tank, clean underneath. Clear title, have additional pics and will take additional pics if you wish to see more/something specific. All sorts of parts put together to make a beautiful blue clean convertible.
