Vehicle Detail
1972 CHEVROLET K5 (4x4) BLAZER WITH AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION For sale is our 1972 Chevrolet K5 Blazer project. I am selling this K5 in order to fund another restoration project. This K5 needs a complete restoration and it needs everything from metal body work, fiberglass work for the top, electrical work, upholstery, paint, etc. It does have a clean Kansas title. The motor runs, the transmission works, the brakes work (parking/emergency brake needs fixing). The winner will be able to drive this K5 onto a trailer. Please note this is a CST (Custom Sport Truck) trim K5 but not a Cheyenne. I couldn't delete the Cheyenne part. This auction includes replacement parts as pictured. You will be able to replace the original front end with vintage GM sheetmetal. As you can see you have all the GM panels to replace this K5's front end. Please note one replacement door needs a metal patch (see picture). All the floors must be replaced including the front seating and rear seating areas. The rear metal panels (right and left) need to be replaced. The fiberglass lift gate needs repair and a new tailgate door is needed. Please see the pictures to get an idea of the work needed. The bucket seats, console, GM lap belts, sunvisors, door panels and related hardware are from a 73 K5 and will fit with appropriate modifications. The hardware for the seats (front and back) and console are included with the sale. The rear seat is from a like-vintage Suburban and will need to be modified to fit this K5 as it is wider than a Blazer rear seat. The white original fiberglass top needs repairs & new hinges. All original glass is present and in good shape. Has the four original GM rims & chrome trim rings. The 4x4 transfer case and front original locking hubs are present. Anyone is welcome to come see this K5 before bidding. I include a Youtube video of the engine running and of the K5 moving (transmission). Please ask any questions you may have, thanks.
