runs shifts and drives very well. vehicle retains its numbers matching 1200cc engine.engine has been rebuilt once using the original engine cases. original 6volt system still intact and functions properly. everything works. has had color change about 15 years ago. original color was off white. this beetle has no rust and never has. ca car. paint still looks good with the exception of a couple dings on the left rear fender. dings occured when i had a flat on the freeway once. paint on right front fender has a blemish thsts starting to appear. There is also a key mark on passenger door that's been touched up. otherwise looks great. recently overhauled brake system. new master cylinder, new brake shoes, rebuilt wheel cylinders etc. replaced generator, performed complete tune up, oil change, valve adjustment. this car runs like a top. roof rack included. located in santa barbara ca.will assist with shipping however possible but shipping cost will be buyers responsibility
