This is a true survivor with original paint and mostly original interior that has been extremely well taken care of its whole life. This has always been a 2-owner car. The story I was told in the original owners, never had kids and that is why it was kept in such good condition. It was always an Oregon car so it is completely rust free and solid as a rock. Just recently the engine and transmission were completely rebuilt. The car runs and drives excellent and everything works in the car. It only has 112K well cared for original miles on it. This is a very rare car with a production of only 14,149 built and probably only a small percentage left in the type of great condition. You hardly ever see vintage wagons anymore especially a Safari wagon. This is truly a rare find!!Options/Equipment:389ci V8 Engine Automatic Original AM Radio (Works) Power Rear Window (Works) Power Steering Power Brakes Rear Wind Deflectors White Wall Radial Tires (Like New) Etc....Exterior:This Pontiac wagon looks great with its original paint, ordered in Sierra Copper Metallic. It really shows well although has some character with a few chips and some thin spots in the paint just due to age. I personally would leave it just the way it is as no one has ever messed with it or tried touching it up. It is truly an untouched survivor and they are only original once. The body is completely rust free and solid. All of the original chrome and trim on the car is in great condition and shows very well. All of the glass in the car is excellent except for one small chip in the windshield. It is sitting on its original wheels and hubcaps with excellent white wall tires.Interior:The interior in the car is mostly all original and still looks amazing. The top of the front seat was repaired at one time loosing the small white decorative inserts. I do have the originals or SMS can remake them. Also it looks to have new carpeting. The dash and gauge cluster is very bright and clean. It has an excellent original steering wheel with one small crack. Everything works in the car including the original AM radio and power rear window. All the weather-stripping and rubbers are original and still in great condition. It has its correct spare and jack.Mechanically:The car runs and drives excellent. It has a 389ci V8 engine that runs like new as it was recently completely rebuilt. Under the hood is very clean and nicely detailed with a updated alternator and power steering pump. The transmission was rebuilt also but was changed from its original unit. The suspension is very tight and smooth. It has a new dual exhaust system that sounds great.
