Vehicle Detail
I purchased this Charger in the Pacific NW from a long term (20 yrs) owner about a year ago after spending 2 years searching for a car with great history, and the best overall quality I could find with the intent of building a Pro Touring car. Long story short, the more I researched the car, and had a chance to look over it, the less I wanted to modify it. Motor and transmission are numbers matching, and I believe the car even has the original exhaust manifolds. I need to look at the rear end when I get a chance over the next couple of days. It is a correct 8/34 rear, but I need to see if there are any tags on it and also need to look at casting #s. It was originally a B5 blue car and also is a real A41 code White Hat 4 spd car. Other details/history are below: Documentation Original Build Sheet Original Fender Tag in Place - not a repop Folder of invoices dating back to 2000; car had a restoration done over 2-3 year period 2000-2003 Fender Tag Decode: XP29: Dodge Charger Premium 2 Door Sports Hardtop H9G: 383 330HP OR 335HP 1-4BBL 8 CYL 1969 St. Louis, MO, USA E63: 383 cid 4 barrel V8 H.P. 335hp D21: 4 Speed Manual Transmission B5: Bright Blue Metallic Exterior Color B5: Trim - Basic, Cloth/Vinyl Bucket Seats, Unknown Color C6X: Unknown Int. Dash was rebuilt when restored, every thing in dash works including the reverse light. Paint is pushing 20 yrs old and looks excellent. Suspension, brake lines all rebuilt when restored. Pictures don't do the car justice. I am looking for someone that appreciates the quality and integrity of this car. I cant find any rust on the car other than surface rust on exhaust etc... Currently stored in my shop on heated floors- I can be reached at 630-209-5722 for serious inquiries only. I reserve the right to end this auction at anytime as car is for sale locally.
