A little background: -Needs new battery to run. Purchased this motorcycle from a buddy of mine who used it as his main transportation around college. Similarly, I used the motorcycle for getting around school and grocery shopping. I've only put about 100-200 miles on it. Well taken care of and never dropped on my watch, but the left foot-peg is a little scraped on the bottom so a previous owner must have taken a sharp lean at some point; there are no marks anywhere on the motorcycle other than the foot-peg. Once I had a car I put the motorcycle in storage. I've decided to put it up for sale to help pay off some student loans and to find someone that can give it more attention than I can at this point in my life. The body: • Since the motorcycle was stored a few blocks from the ocean, humidity has caused a bit of aluminum oxidation on some parts. I've taken photos of all the affected areas. There is also a thick layer of dust on it.• Before storage the motorcycle was buffed, polished, and waxed along with treatment for any oxidation on body. General Maintenance History: • Stock air filter replaced (K&N; reusable & high performance) • Full oil flush and change (Castrol) • Oil filter change (K&N high performance) • Replaced the clutch and break handles (Skulls at ends, see pictures). • Battery stopped holding a charge at some point; *needs new battery*. • Break fluid cap has been replaced with a new one due to the amount of oxidation on the previous one. •Rear tire is a bit smooth so I'm including a brand new Dunlop D404 (140/90-15 94516) rear tire w/the motorcycle. (Stored inside home) •Carburetor was cleaned from inside out and motorcycle was stored with an empty fuel tank. Needs to be retuned for best performance, but will run as is with fresh battery. Rides great and only has 7,498 miles! Rated for around +50mpg. Great for beginners or just anyone looking for a cruiser. This motorcycle is particularly excellent for anyone with a smaller stature due to the lower overall weight and seat height compared to most other motorcycles.
