I am selling my original 2001 FORD RANGER. Original paint, Clean title. It is a regular/standard cab pick up truck. Truck starts, runs and drives with the exception of the transmission possibly needing a valve body gasket replaced. (I am not a mechanic - this is what I have been told) As the transmission currently slips during take off and when moving in reverse.. However the truck will drive onto a trailer when shifted into 2nd gear on the column shifter... AC works. Has a matching pair of 5 tires including the spare. Original spare jack/tool kit behind passenger seat is there and has never been used. Brand new battery just put in about 2 months ago. New AC compressor. This has been a good truck, it was used as a spare vehicle around the house. It was formerly a Municipal/City Utility vehicle. Meaning this truck has been routinely maintained every 3,000 miles. Florida truck, no rust-clean undercarriage. Sometimes I cannot believe this truck has 250K miles as it idles/runs as good as a Ranger with half those miles. It does not look as it has those miles neither. As it was well maintained its entire life, No warning lights on the dash (took picture of it running) only the seat belt light was on as my seat belt wasn't buckled. Straight Ranger with the exception of the dent on the lower rear passenger side of the bed. Interior is also clean as you can see from the pictures. Surprisingly the headliner is not sagging/dropping like many others. It is a shame, but I have recently bought a new truck. I would like to sell it as I'm paying tag/insurance on it to only have it parked on the side of our driveway. This will make a great truck for anyone willing to fix the transmission issue.
