CANNONGROM! This isn’t just any Honda Grom. This is the Grom that I rode 2100 miles from Atlantic City, NJ to Pueblo, CO. It never missed a beat. I easily could have continued on to California as I originally planned, but I was accompanying the Motorcycle Cannonball Run and my buddy, who was an entrant in the Run, suffered a catastrophic mechanical failure to his 100+ year old bike and had to come home to Florida. I reluctantly pulled my Grom into his van for the trip home. The bike still only has 4066 miles on it, and runs like new. I mounted Michelin tires on the bike, and they really enhanced the ride and handling. I also added a K & N air filter which seems to make the bike reach its full potential and also gives it a throaty sound. I also added a Givi mounting plate so you can add the size top box you like (my top box not included). The only other modification was the addition of a kit that cleans up the appearance of the rear of the bike. Big improvement! The bike runs and looks looks great. It regularly gets 100 mpg in normal use and only takes one quart of oil. I use only Amsoil. Other than my epic run across America, I have used the bike primarily for around town riding where it excels. I can easily zip through traffic much more quickly than big bikes, and parking is never a problem. What can I say? It’s a Honda and it is bulletproof. If you wonder why I’m selling this great little bike, its because I have reached a certain advanced age and I am scaling back on my riding. When I bought the Grom everyone told me it was a kid’s bike, but as an old guy I have had a blast on it. Sure it’s a ton of fun for new riders, but it's a bike just about anyone can ride. Don’t just buy a Grom. Buy a part of Grom history!
