1997 TL1000S with 34,235 miles. It is in pretty good condition and the mileage is not bad for a 21-year-old bike. It is a very strong runner, and since it is a V-twin it has good power from the bottom up. These bikes have a tendency to wheelie and should be approached with caution until you get used to it. I removed the steering damper years ago, but I still have it if one wishes to put it back on. It has a PCIII, Vance & Hines slip-ops, high smoked windscreen, a fender eliminator, six-piston front calipers from a GSXR750, 6-spring clutch from the TL1000R, steel-braided brake lines front and rear, oil and filter within 1000 miles, front brake fluid 1200 miles, new spark plugs and wires 2000 miles, coolant 2000 miles, tires are good with 5000 miles, valve inspection is good until 36000. Bodywork is from a 98 (bad engine), and has some scratches as shown. VA inspection is good until Aug. 2018. There is one mismatched fairing piece underneath the headlights; it's green instead of black, and hard to see without bright light. I've owned the bike since 2011 and put 13000 miles on it, including several 400 mile trips. However, it has a rather extreme riding position and I need to sit up a bit more for long trips. It has been a very fun bike to ride, sounds terrific and handles adequately. I do still ride it, and the mileage will go up a little.
