It pains me to part with this handsome 420sel which I have had for a little over three years, but I have nothing left to give it. I suspect it needs a new engine or an overhaul and I don't have the funds for that. It starts and runs but very poorly. It is not really drivable. I used it to drive between two homes 90 miles apart, and it did fine, for these years, except for using a little oil and having a hesitation from a standstill. But recently it has developed a real shudder under load and a serious loss of power; I replaced six injectors but that did not solve it; also swapped the MAF and fuel distributor from lower mileage cars but to no avail. I just wanted to add that I drove it last night and it is sputtery still on the road, but I ran the rpm's up to about 3k in neutral for several minutes and it seemed fine in that mode - so I really may be overstating its condition. I only have so much time - it could be something as minor a cracked injector holder, a blocked fuel line, who knows. I offer it for parts or for the right person to bring it back to life. I think there must have been a very recent short as the radio does not work nor the dash lights (like yesterday), and it doesn't appear to be the fuse that controls those. Body-wise, it's above average but there are a couple of slight clear coat fading spots and I unwisely tried to apply some clear to the roof - it was more passable until a cover trapped water under it and it created more pale areas. It has very nice, near perfect, wheels with like-new Goodyear tires, and the seats are near perfect except for the wear hole on the driver's seat. Clear NC title. I'm all but giving it away and the sale is COMPLETELY AS IS. I've gotten my use out of it and offer it for whatever use you have for it.
