1972 Triumph TR 6 / Convertible / Pimento Red / Black Top / Black Carpet / Runs & Drives Like a TR 6 Should This TR 6 was purchased new in Roanoke, Virginia at Webb Import Motors on Williamson Road. It's been in Virginia for 46 years. The body and frame on this TR is in very solid condition. Paint work is the original color code (Pimento Red) is new with plenty of gloss. The cars interior trim has new carpet, door panels, dash pad, seat covers along with the convertible top in good condition. The top does have one small tear on the right side just behind the door and has been repaired. Comes with a black tonnequ cover, luggage rack on trunk lid. All instruments, lighting are in working order. The engine department is clean and in stock appearance. Engine runs strong, idles good, revs up nicely with good oil pressure. Runs cool when idling and in hot weather. Brakes. Clutch, Under Carriage is clean and in good condition. AM/FM radio heater, seat belts, floor mats, roll bar, and mirrors. This TR is ready to enjoy driving now. Some pictures are while I was redoing the vehicle. The number 72 round number sign on the doors and hood is made out of magnet material that is removal quickly without damage to the paint Front spoiler is an add on for the 72 TR 6 along with the retro radio and speakers. The 32149 mileage showing on the odometer presently is not the actual mileage. I cannot say if the odometer has been changed or not. It is presently in working order recording speed and mileage. This TR was purchased by a lady professor working at Hollins College. She purchased it on March 27th, 1972 for the amount of $3,908.21 according to the original bill of sell that comes with the car along with all the original Triumph owner manuals, operating instruction books. You will also see where she had maps of England and Germany where she shipped the car overseas to drive while touring that area. Car was purchased from her by a veterinarian that knew her from taking care of her pet. He then purchased a Cobra. I than purchased the car from him.
