1979 Honda CBX

Up for bid is a 1979 Honda CBX. Originally a US bike that has been in southern Ontario Canada for about 20 years. It was in storage for the past few years before I purchased it in December 2017. Excellent restoration project or if you are capable it can be roadworthy with minimal investment. I will be as accurate as I can in the description. Ideally you would view prior to purchase. Email for additional pictures etc.Body work - The tank has some minor dents and the brake reservoir leaked onto the tank causing the paint to dull. The rear tail section is broken and I do not have the missing piece. All paint appears to be original. Both side covers are missing one of the 3 pins. Handle bars have pitting, gauge housing warped, seat recovered not correct. Engine - It runs but needs the fuel system gone over as it leaked fuel from the carb overflow hose. I haven't ridden this other than to load it on a trailer. Mileage shows 16666 but I am not able to confirm it's accuracy.Exhaust - I believe thy are the original pipes but for some reason the ends have been re-welded as shown.Other - Brakes stick and will need rebuild. Tires have decent tread but are a few years old and should be replaced if you plan on highway use.
