In 2002 Porsche introduced the X50 performance package option to the 996 Turbo. Many consider this option the closest you get to an S. Essentially, the X50 option gave the Turbo a higher output of 450HP due in part to larger turbo chargers, intercoolers, tuned ECU, and updated exhaust. Production numbers are unknown. However it is said that each dealer sold only a couple each year between 2002 and 2004. The option was rather expensive at $17,000-19,000 depending on the production year. This 2003 X50 Turbo was ordered in stunning Speed Yellow with Graphite Gray full leather with aluminum accents. The car is in beautiful shape and has been very well maintained over the years. The interior looks like new and feels very fresh. Everything works on the car including the rear wing. It drives out extremely well and is very quick. The clutch and brakes work as they should and have lots of life left on them. The car is entirely stock with the exception of a K&N air cleaner. The car comes with books, one set of keys, tools, jack, spare and a clean Carfax. This is a really wonderful example of a future classic! After sale, a $1000 non-refundable deposit will be required within 48 hours and the final payment will be required within a week via cash/wire transfer. Final payment is ONLY accepted via wire transfer or cash in person. NO other methods are accepted. Full payment must be within a week after the sale or buyer defaults on the sale. Shipping is the buyer’s responsibility and the car is expected to be picked up within a month after sale unless we speak about otherwise.
