Any questions, please ask via email. Car sold as is where is with no warranty express or implied. Pick up: local/shipping responsibility of buyer On Dec-29-17 at 08:03:47 PST, seller added the following information: There appears to be some confusion regarding the specifics of the car/listing and as I want 100% clarity and transparency, I am adding this information to the listing. While this is a truly stunning vehicle, it is NOT numbers matching/original engine to the car. I thought as much was already clear, but I want the new owner to be as happy with it as I have been so I want NO issues. When I purchased the car several years ago, it was listed as 455 w Ram Air. I understand that no '68 had 455 Ram Air originally. However, my mechanic (a former dealership mechanic with over 30 years experience), the only person I've ever let turn a wrench on the car, said the stamping on the engine reflected the same. Any prospective buyer is more than welcome to do a personal inspection or hire an expert to do so. I can only relay what the experts have told me. This car has MANY upgrades from factory original, which while appealing to me, may not be as much so for others. Therefore, while I am confident that it is a 455 with a Ram Air casting, please OMIT the reference to it being so when bidding or considering to bid as, I can't personally guarantee/warranty it as such, but am relying on others far more knowledgeable than am I. I would actually remove all references to it for simplicity sake, but such changes to an original listing are not allowed by eBay. I understand this may keep some from bidding or make the end price lower, but I'd rather the new owner be ecstatic with the car and feel they got more than they expected rather than less. Quite simply, I want any new buyer to love the car as I have and to value and appreciate it. I sincerely hope this helps with any possible confusion. On Dec-30-17 at 00:06:38 PST, seller added the following information: Thank you all for the overwhelming interest. Please make sure to read entire post/listing to hopefully answer any questions as email has been busy. I will add that I've been getting offers to end early and while I don't wish to do that, I would consider ending early for "the right" offer as that option does exist and it is in line with eBay rules. Thanks again and happy bidding!
