The Pajero was equipped with a 2.5 Liter Turbodiesel motor, unlike the gas powered American version. These rugged vehicles were utilized all over the world, and new models continue to be made and roam other parts of the world, from the frozen grounds of Russia, to the forests and mountains of Asia and Europe, to the hot deserts of Australia, Africa, and the Middle East. …Unlucky for us Americans, they were never made readily available for us, and continue to be unavailable for even the new models. This particular Pajero is a 1988 2.5TD short wheel base (swb) 4x4 with only approximately 90,000 original miles .The odometer and speedometer are both in Kilometers, so it reads 146xxx. (Mileage subject to change slightly, as it is still driven around a little bit on weekends). It was imported out of Japan earlier this year. 5 speed manual transmission, Right hand drive, four wheel drive, turbo diesel This babied model was very well kept by the previous owner, with an immaculate interior and virtually perfect exterior. The interior only has one tear in the driver side seat, which could be repaired easily. Under the hood is spotless, and everything is easily accessible. While there are no dents or dings anywhere, it does have some very small rust spots inside parts of the fender in two or so places. Nothing that can’t be repaired. NO dents or actual DAMAGE anywhere.
