Up for auction is this very nice '47 Ford 2 door Club Coupe. It has its original 239 C. I. Flathead V-8.with a 3 speed on the column. It starts easily, does not smoke at anytime. I was told by the previous owner that the engine was rebuilt about 2000 miles ago. It runs, drives and shifts good. I put a new muffler on it & I think it could use new doughnut gaskets. The engine has a lot of pep and the brakes work good. It handles and steers good on the open road. The body of the car is in nice shape and the paint has a couple of minor dings, but very presentable as is. The car was repainted about 10 years ago and the interior was re-done at that time. All the glass is very nice & all the windows roll up & down very good. The car has new tires with nice original rims and hubcaps. The lights and gauges work with the exception of the speedo, that needs a new cable. The interior is very nice as is the dash & gauges. The seats are near perfect condition and very comfortable. The car sports a Fulton Visor and fender skirts come with it. It has newer carpet. The car also has accessory fog lights that are not wired up yet. The radiator needs one side bracket re-soldered. The car needs the drivers side key lock. All the chrome & stainless trim is in nice shape. The bumpers & grill are very nice! The trunk has been carpeted and looks very neat.
