(1-10): 9"I recently received this car as a gift for my 18th birthday, while it is over 10 years old and had a huge amount of miles on it, it still drove smoothly, with stop-on-a-dime brakes and a smooth acceleration. The only problem is it has small cup holders, and when you first drive it, it seems like its a little too big."1 person out of 1 found this review helpfulWas this review helpful to you? yes | no | report abuseThis has been a really reliable vehicle.By Mel on Friday, June 16, 2017I own this car - My approximate mileage is 134,500overall rating 8 of 10rating detailsPros: "Great car to drive. Very comfortable."Cons: "Needs a little body touch up, but good overall."Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10"My parents owned it first, and they purchased it new. I have had it for 3+ years, and all I have had to do to it is routine maintenance and put tires on it. The tires are 2 years old, but I only put about 10,000 miles per year on the vehicle. The ride of this car is great, and very comfortable, especially for long trips. There are a couple of things that are not functioning like they once did, but that is just from normal wear and tear, and it is more more about power windows and seats, and not the engine or performance of the vehicle. The paint has a couple of spots that need touch up. I have seen other vehicles of the same model, with the same spot that needs to be touched up. I would sell this care to a friend, and I have…read more 1 person out of 1 found this review helpfulWas this review helpful to you? yes | no | report abusegood car!!By Marv on Wednesday, May 10, 2017I own this car - My approximate mileage is 157,800overall rating 8 of 10rating detailsPros: "smooth ride"Cons: "terrible in snow"Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 8"FIRST OF ALL, THIS CAR IS NOT MY STYLE AT ALL, ON A PERSONAL LEVEL... IT WAS A HAND-ME-DOWN GIFT FROM MY FATHER, SO, BEGGARS CANT BE CHOOSERS RIGHT?? LOL. THAT BEING SAID, IT FEELS AWESOME TO STEP ON THE GAS IN TRAFFIC AND HAVE THAT V8 ROAR TO LIFE TAKING ME WHERE I NEED TO GO, SOMETIMES FASTER THAN I SHOULD LOL... AND I HAVE TO COMMENT ON THE SIZE OF THE TRUNK/CARGO SPACE I USED TO LAUGH AT THE AMOUNT OF TOOLS AND GEAR THAT MY DAD USED TO PILE IN THAT TRUNK, BUT HAVING THAT SPACE FOR MY OWN USE IS BOTH A WONDERFUL- AND A CURSE AT THE SAME TIME-- IT SEEMS I OFTEN COLLECT TOO MUCH JUNK IN MY TRUNK, BUT ALSO TEND TO SOMETIMES LOOSE SOME THINGS IN THAT VAST BUT OFTEN CROWDED TRUNK. MY DAD DID LITTLE MAINTENANCE, EXCEPT FOR THE…read more 7 people out of 8 found this review helpfulWas this review helpful to you? yes | no | report abuseBargain of the decade.By Markemark on Monday, January 16, 2017I own this car - My approximate mileage is 112,000overall rating 9 of 10rating detailsPros: "Safe reliable ride."Cons: "Old school"Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9"Those looking for a super reliable, safe, comfortable cheap used car look no further than the old school panther platform by the way of Mercury Grand Marquis/Ford Crown Vic and Lincoln Town Car. All offer smooth V-8 power with bullet proof reliability. The 03 up offer improved chassis and steering response. People may crack on the Grandpa car until they ride in and see for themselves how well they ride. Bought my 05 Grand Marquis for 3k out the door from a large dealership w only 106k. Deals are out there!"
