Private owner is selling this car after 10-year ownership. This amazing A code 1967 GT Fastback is a rare find. A REAL FLORIDA CAR. Beautiful Ford Caymen Blue color, recently restored to new condition with a cost of $20,000.00 in paint and body alone. Only 200 miles since restoration was finished. Paint and body was done by Chris Dobbs at Huegenics of Trenton, Florida. He is known for the restorations of the National Parts Depot car collection in Ocala Fl. All corroded/rusted sheet metal was replaced properly with new sheet metal, including full quarter panels. The drive train is an era-correct rebuilt 302 4V replacement with a 4 speed toploader from the original 289. Scott Drake stainless steel Tri-Y headers and Magnaflow stainless steel exhaust. Recent upgrade to a T5 transmission on a 3.00 conventional rear-end. All components have been refurbished or replaced with new hardware including, brake lines, fuel lines, fuel tank, brake cables, insulated Dyanamat flooring mat, ALL new suspension, etc. Style steel wheels & brand new B.F. Goodrich Silvertown redline radial tires, brakes, and all mechanical components. This is a non-power steering car with power front disc brakes and rear drum brakes, new leaf springs, Vintage Air A/C system, Flaming River tilt steering wheel, new gear box, new stereo system, factory GT wood steering wheel with a new standard saddle-colored interior with courtesy lights on lower doors, folding rear seat, upper and lower consoles, dash clock and under-dash seat belt and parking brake warning lights, original body BUCK tag still with car. This is a factory ordered tachometer and Trip Odometer car with the GT equipment group and exterior trim group, including stainless steel exhaust tips. Marti Report indicates this as a 289-4V (A code) car with a DSO (District Sales Office) Jacksonville, Florida, and sold new at Ball Ford, Miami, Florida.
