Vehicle Detail
(Checked everything out today Sat 12/16. Updated description, see below) Clear, unbranded, Washington state title in hand. Not currently registered and no Washington plates. No emissions test needed to register in WA because of being 26 years old. You will have to arrange for transport/tow (I can recommend a company). Other options: WA sells trip permits; or if registering in WA, you could bring your own plates (or pay for new ones), and register/title it locally. I drove this Previa from Missouri to Washington this past June with the idea of using it in a business that I never started. Thus why it is up for sale. Before the road trip, the oil was changed and the water pump/coolant and alternator were replaced. It has basically sat, with occasional start-ups, since the road trip - I have put exactly 49 miles on it since then. Lots of maintenance records for it including SADS bushings replaced by Toyota dealer. Also comes with the original window sticker from a Bay Area, CA dealer. Exterior paint is very good with no obvious fading or peeling; looks like it was kept under cover/garaged most of its life. It has some typical dings, one bad rust spot on sliding door with scratches, and some scratches on tailgate. Dent between the windshield (no cracks) and front sunroof. Original headlights are largely clear and unfaded. Rear taillights are missing a few small pieces around the edges. Some small (typical) rust spots for the age. Interior overall is very good. Small tear in driver seat, some smudges here and there, small tear on back of 3rd row seats, smudges on front overhead sunroof sunshade, but for the most part pretty clean. Trim panels in really nice shape. Was told it had not been smoked in and I hadn't noticed anything really obvious to say otherwise (I don't smoke). Captain's Chairs do not swivel in the 91's (they swivel starting with 92's). Sliding door operation is the smoothest I've come across in these vans. Front pop up sunroof has a small crack (fairly typical from what I've seen) that does not affect anything. Rear sunroof has no cracks but does NOT open; the motor runs but the glass does not move. Front and middle overhead courtesy lamps are out. Rear cargo lamp is good. Theft Deterrent Lamp is out (but alarm works). Left rear corner light is out. All other outside lights (back-up, etc) are good and bright; and all instrumentation, HVAC switches, etc light up brightly as intended. Factory radio works but left side original speakers are out (have not tested CD). Runs and drives good. The power windows, power door locks, power outside mirrors, wipers, cruise, etc all work. Heater works good. A/C works but might need some attention as it seemed to come and go when I used it on the road trip. The HVAC fan operates on the lowest and highest settings only. The overhead fan works good on all settings. Currently, no glaring oil leaks, drips on ground, etc or 'burning oil smell' from drips on exhaust manifold - which is a definite plus. Steering wheel cover was on it when I bought it and I haven't bothered to check condition underneath. Michelin tires have good tread left. Tailgate prop shafts work good. Trying not to miss anything. Hate to let it go but I simply don't need it. Hope it goes to a good home. Willing to negotiate some... make an offer. Feel free to ask any questions, thanks!
