Vehicle Detail

1979 Cadillac Eldorado. Gorgeous car. White with red leather interior. Puts you back in time and a big smile on your face to drive it. Has the 350 Oldsmobile engine, not that junk HT 4100 that the other ones came with. Many failure prone items upgraded:Ecu protection upgrade for fuel pump circuit.Upgraded hvac system relay to Bosch cube.Ride level upgraded to regular air shocks.Headliner redone. Vinyl top replaced Car is totally rust free with exception of the two small bubbles at bottom of windshield pillar as shown in photo. Paint is nearly immaculate. No dents or dings. There are a couple cracks in the middle of rear bumper filler as shown in photos. Interior is very nice red leather with new headliner. The only portion of headliner that is original is the sliding moon roof portion. Drivers seat has a couple of age spots as shown in photos, but still feels like new when sitting in it. Sunroof works perfectly and does not leak. Toyo tires have about 90% tread. Rear brakes recently redone. Has a few classic car quirks like any 40 year old car, such as : first thing in the morning you have to put the transmission selector in low when you first start out. After that move it to drive and it works perfectly for the rest of the day. The guy at A1 Transmission here in Roseburg oregon said it just has older original seals and not to worry about because it will probably last forever. (Previous owner drove it like that for years). It is only a mild irritation once you get used to it. Also the hvac seems to work great as long as you don't move the selector to the off position. That causes the fuse to blow. Other than that it works fine. I don't think I have tested the a/c because it has been cold here, but I am assuming it works because the pump comes on when it's sup posed to.Aftermarket cruise control has been installed, but didnt appear to work the one time I tried it. Antenna is slow to go up and down and I have it unplugged to help keep the car cover on properly. Sometimes out of nowhere I will get a barely noticeable momentary hesitation while driving but have not been able to determine what causes it, and it is a minor quirk. There are probably a couple other small annoyances I am forgetting, but overall a very solid car.Comes with some cool manuals and a custom Budge car cover. Sweet sweet car that gets tons of looks and comments and looks like a new car. That front plate is a novelty plate and if you have seen the movie "Casino" you will understand why I put it on there. The car is registered in Oregon in my name and has permanent classic car plates.Low low reserve at $3500. I can drive it to a nearby city for shipping purposes if needed. (Within 70 miles)I cruise around in this car on a weekly basis and love it. Just too many toys now.
