1975 Chevy Nova LN, 1-owner car, 262 V-8 (4.3L), 2-BBL, TH350 trans, 273,608 miles. Bought new in Missouri in 1975, car has been in Texas since 1975. Has a current Texas registration and safety inspection sticker. Engine rebuilt in 1993 @221,490 miles, Trans rebuilt in 1996 @242,280. Last paint job in 1999 @268,700. Car put into indoor storage in 2001 @270,205 miles. Retrofitted 134a Air. A/C works (works now – 40° duct temp) but requires recharge every year or two. Heater and defroster both work. Transmission leaks 3 Qt. per year, trans leak is most evident when car sits undriven for months at a time. No oil leaks, no white/blue/black exhaust smoke. Just discovered, power steering pump leaks but fluid level in pump holding steady. Steering and handling are loose and unresponsive at best, but safe. No shimmy or shake at 60 mph. Brakes are very good. Idle is smooth/steady, acceleration and power are just average. AM/FM Stereo not working. Trunk lid leaks when it rains, some rust on rear underside of trunk lid. Numerous paint chips on painted trim pieces. Has never been in a collision. Both driver side wheels spinners missing. Steering wheel cocked slightly to right. Interior original but shows its age, cracked dashboard, windshield-to-dashboard seam shows wear and deterioration. Damage to filler piece behind left side of front bumper. Loose right-side headlight bezel. Driver’s seat has excessive rearward tilt. Tear in driver’s seat. Stain on passenger side inside door panel. Tear in rear window package tray. Includes a 1974 Chevrolet Service Manual, 1975 Chevrolet Service and Overhaul Manual Supplement, and 1975 Fisher Body Service Manual. Car is original, unrestored – still has many 42-year-old parts (body mounts, bushings, rubber seals, etc).
