Vehicle Detail
Classic Muscle Car. The 1970 Plymouth Barracuda is one of the nicest most sought after body style of any era. This car comes complete with a nice body, nice frame rails, good doors, and very decent original body panels. This car is originally covered in FT6 Burnt Tan Metallic which is somewhat of a rare color even for the regular run of the mill barracudas. This car was also a radio delete car with drum brakes on all 4 corners. Floor pans will need to be addressed, trunk pan for sure will need to be replaced. All other panels are repairable by any good body man. Will need a new gas tank. I have a new Key lock cylinder set that goes with the car. Has no center pumpkin in the rear axle. The best way I can describe the car is by saying that it needs 100% total restoration but is a much better starting point than others being sold for more money. No need for frame rail replacement or firewall replacement, or inner fender replacement or cowl replacement or door replacement or quarter panel replacement or hood replacement, or header panel replacement, or dutch panel replacement. The grill is original and darn near perfect. Fenders have a couple of dents and quarter panels have a couple of small dents but as stated, any good body man can correct these areas with ease. The business I am storing the car at is being sold and the yard needs to be cleared. I simply have no room where I am at and storage fees anywhere else will be cost prohibitive in my current financial situation. My loss is entirely your gain. Best car to build into that very special and unique barracuda without cutting up a Cuda. Don't pass up the chance of letting go one of these beautiful muscle cars where the costly and hard to repair areas are totally unnecessary. Cut down on that cost and retain a lot more of the originality of the car making it more valuable when complete. Naturally, there is no warranty expressed, implied or written. It is being sold "as-is" as a project car needing 100% total restoration. For sale locally and I can end the auction at any time if sold locally. The best father and son/daughter project car. The car has not been run in years and the engine should be considered to be seized. FT6 C16 C5(?) M21 Y05 E11(?)FT6 H6T5 000 931 013406E44 D31 BH23 (???) (Vin #)
