I bought this for my wife and she is not driving it. I added front disc brakes and new rear drum brakes and upgraded to 12 volt but outside of that, it is original. This truck was found in a barn from its original home in Texas. The truck had some engine work, a fresh coat of paint and brakes. It was then brought to California where the truck had a 12-volt conversion to a modern alternator. It had the brakes modernized from drum to disc and new drums on the back. It has the original 1959 Texas plates, owners books and some new rubber for the window. The truck has the stove top original 6cyl and three on the tree. Lots of paperwork, original title, factory marketing material, wood in the back is in good condition. Ready to ride. Wood is in good condition, could use some stain to make it new again, The truck is a LONG BED The Truck is the big Window It has all the chrome from what I can tell. It is the stove top 6cyl so it will not win races. It comes with shop manuals, original Texas Tags from 1959, original title and newer title from TX showing its history and limited owners, many records from repairs to the seals on the engine and new brakes I did. My kid can drive this truck. Even has a 1960's Playboy Key chain. Truck was found in a barn in Texas. I am the third owner since pulled from the barn. It is in really good condition for the age. It needs someone to love it, some new clear coat as it is chipping, and to be enjoyed. You can turn it into a hot rod or leave it original.
